In storePartlyDollar Tree's store FAQ on credit, debit and EBT cards refers to paying with EBT food benefits and EBT cash benefits at its stores, and says a completed sale cannot be switched to a different benefit type or card. The FAQ does not say which stores accept EBT, so check your store or call before you go.[1]
OnlinePartlyDollar Tree's same-day ordering runs through Instacart, and Instacart's Dollar Tree pages say EBT SNAP is accepted for grocery orders placed there, in full or in part, from participating Dollar Tree stores in select states. We found no Dollar Tree page saying EBT works for regular shipped orders on dollartree.com, so we do not claim it. Third-party sites disagree on this and none cites Dollar Tree.[2]
PickupPartlyInstacart's Dollar Tree pages say EBT SNAP is accepted for pickup orders placed through Instacart, at participating stores in select states. Availability depends on your store and state. Check the order screen for the EBT option.[2]
DeliveryPartlyInstacart's Dollar Tree pages say EBT SNAP is accepted for same-day delivery orders at participating stores in select states, and the pages for cities such as New York, Chicago, Phoenix and Atlanta say so. Instacart's help page, hosted on Dollar Tree's same-day site, says an EBT card cannot pay delivery and service fees, bottle deposit fees, taxes or tips, or non-eligible items. You need a credit or debit card on your account to cover those.[2]
