In storeYesIn an April 17, 2025 release CVS Health said CVS Pharmacy currently accepts SNAP/EBT at all stores.

Sources disagree: The source is over a year old. Some third-party sites say 'most' stores or 'select' stores. Call your store to confirm.

OnlineYesCVS says it accepts SNAP EBT cards online for eligible food items on CVS.com. You add your EBT card to your CVS.com account, choose EBT at checkout and enter your PIN. You can split the payment and use another card for ineligible items.

Sources disagree: Several third-party sites say EBT does not work on CVS.com. CVS's own page says it does. The April 2025 CVS Health release only described DoorDash and Uber Eats.

Good to know

  • CVS says SNAP cannot pay delivery or service fees, and cannot buy non-food items, vitamins, pet food, alcohol, tobacco or hot prepared foods. Eligible items returned are refunded to your EBT card. CVS may have delivery or pickup minimums depending on your location. [2]
