Good to know

  • If a SNAP-paid item is out of stock, a replacement that costs more is charged to your backup card. Weighted items, price changes and items added at curbside can also push the total over what EBT covered, and the extra goes to the backup card. You enter your EBT PIN at each checkout. [1]
  • ALDI's forms-of-payment page lists EBT and SNAP among the payments accepted at its stores. It says ALDI does not accept WIC benefits, checks, or health spending cards such as United, Aetna Health Food and Humana Spending. [2]
